Adrian Collins

Adrian has always loved playing music, to the point of building a DJ booth in his teenage bedroom, much to his mother’s disapproval.
He built his first DJ set in the early 70s with a couple of old used turntables and a 4-channel mixer. Adrian used that old set to play music for dances at the local village youth club and a lunchtime radio station at his secondary school.
In the late 70s and early 80s, he was fortunate to work with 2 of the best mobile discos/Roadshows in the SE UK, the Dave Lane Roadshow & the Keith Seal Show.
Adrian departed the UK in 1982 for the warmer climes of the Bahamas where he was immersed in Calypso & Reggae, then moved to Florida in 89 where he occasionally provided DJ & sound system services for Charity events, Weddings, and parties.
Adrian’s go-to music has always been Disco, Reggae, and more recently, Deep House.
He reconnected with Keith Seal a few years ago who introduced him to Crackers Radio and soon became a regular listener.

Adrian’s ‘Coolade Show’ will be on Thursday evenings, from 10 PM till Midnight on Crackers Radio.
