From a very early age sport and music were my big loves.
Started getting into music, influenced heavily by an older Brother and older Cousins, being the baby amongst the group by a decent age gap. Started buying from Readings in Clapham Junction, and Goodness in Tooting Broadway locally, before going to the big record fairs and the big West End Record shops
At 13 started DJ-ing at impromptu local parties, mainly as I was the only sober once amongst my peers. This was a very interesting learning ground. Would also play at family parties
This lead me to eventually DJ on my first pirate radio station in 1985, Starpoint Radio (still going to this day).
I carried out on DJ-ing on a various venues,notably having a regular spot alongside Chris Philips, at The Pub Continental Wandsworth in the late 80’s, and then again in the late 90’s at Ion Bar Ladbroke Grove.
After a long hiatus of approx 15 years, in 2008, I returned to Starpoint, but less than a year later, I joined Colourful Radio, where I stayed for 5 years.
I originally joined Crackers Radio, after a meeting with Double M and Eon Irvine in 2018. I stayed for a few years, before some personal issues meant I couldn’t commit to doing my show.
Now 2024, and I’m excited to be re joining the station, and playing music to the masses, on my Stoned Soul Picnic show.
