ANDY FIELD Andy could regularly be found dancing in the underground Jazz Funk & soul clubs of

the late 70’s early 80’s including Crackers, Horseshoe, Royalty and The Electric Ballroom. He went on to DJ at Flicks, Dartford (1986-1989), and also Fantasy Radio.

The attraction of pirate radio was outweighed by the prospect of large fines, confiscation of records etc, so he decided to follow other avenues into broadcasting.

With a background role as Studio Manger at London’s Jazz FM the stage was set for further Radio work . Andy was at Jazz fm for nearly 4 years, presenting several shows .

With a full on background in Digital Playout Software he was employed for the launch of South East London station FLR 107.3 where he presented 4 nightly shows and weekend breakfast playing Soul, Dance, Motown and Jazz Funk.

A series of Soul Events over the last few years with Tony D have been icing on the cake making a return to the Crackers Family even better.

His recent Online and DAB activity include well known world wide Soul Stations and Digital broadcasts to London , Kent , Sussex and Essex. With more than 40 years experience it’s a life long journey , very pleased to be at Crackers Radio
