Jazzin the Funk - Playing the best in Funk, Jazz-Funk, P-Funk, Jazz, Latin, Disco, Boogie, and Soulful House
David’s musical journey started in 1978, born in Hackney North London he frequented night clubs in his local area such as Cubies and The Royalty. The following year in 1979 he graduated to Crackers Friday afternoon club sessions and the evening sessions on Sunday’s. Friday’s, Saturday and Sunday sometimes having to walk back with a group of 20 or 30 friends back to home from London’s West End as those days no night buses or tubes were not available.
Being an avid Jazzfunker he would go on to the Horseshoe and later the Electric Ballroom for his dose of Funk, Jazz Funk and Fusion, learning and busting his own moves. Taking a great interest in the music he started developing his music collection spending much time in the West End’s record shops, his music collection is vast.
In the 80’s David’s scene was very much into creating private parties and Djing over London. David’s musical interests cover P-Funk, Funk, Soul, Disco, Jazz, Latin Jazz, Jazz Funk, Fusion and Soulful House.
