Since 2018 and the sad passing of our founder and benefactor George Power, Crackers Radio has been a non-profit, self funded organisation, totally dependent on generous contributions from our team of outstanding presenters. However as we progress through these tough 'cost of living' times we find ourselves in need of support and help with covering the escalating costs of PPL/PRS licence fees and essential station infrastructure needs, thus ensuring the Crackers community continues through 2024. Now a radio station that is based on the beliefs of its founder George Power, focused on delivering good quality soulful music across the board, ranging from Soulful RnB, Neo Soul, Conscious soulful Hip-hop, Soulful house, and of course those specialist shows focusing on the 70s and 80s Soul Funk and jazzy sounds synonymous with the Crackers brand.
